Freight Shipping Information

A select few of our products will only ship via freight due to the size of the package (these are noted on the item page).  Truck freight differs from standard UPS or US Mail in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house.  This is commonly referred to as "curb service" and is standard practice in the trucking industry.

Unlike UPS or DHL, with freight shipping you can not make claims for damage after the shippers have left the premises.  You MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This insures that if there is any damage, it will be easier to rectify the problem.

If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need extra help to unload it. Some  truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once you have tracking numbers you can contact the freight company directly if you need to purchase additional services from them (i.e. help unloading package).
